I make mirrors and other items decorated with driftwood or pieces of seawashed pottery and glass found on Islay's shores. I enjoy beach-combing, looking to see what treasures have been washed up since the last time I visited a particular beach. I also enjoy recycling these discarded items to make useful and attractive objects. Each piece is unique. As well as decorated mirrors, I make designs based on Islay's heritage, in particular the beautiful, mediaeval Celtic crosses at Kilnave and Kildalton.
Prices vary according to size and complexity of design. The images shown are examples only: please contact me to see what is currently available, or to commission a work.
